Queen's street close to Oxford school of English

Located in the very centre of Oxford, just a few metres from all the main bus stops and a very short walk from most of the city's key attractions, Oxford School of English is one of the city's most popular English language schools. Oxford School of English combines low prices with high academic standards and is accredited by the British Council.

Oxford School of English is located in a spacious and quiet building in the centre of Oxford, a few metres from the main shopping streets (Cornmarket Street and Queen Street).

I have studied in three different schools here, says our student Ye Jin in our school dvd, and in my opinion this is the best English language school in Oxford!

Interactive learning We are very close to all the main attractions, including the university colleges, museums, art galleries, historic buildings, the river, bars, clubs and pubs.

There are fantastic views from the school windows, overlooking the rooftops of Oxford to Carfax Tower, Christ Church cathedral and the beautiful countryside beyond.
Buses to all parts of the city stop close by. The bus station and the train station are a short walk.

Students with teacherAt Oxford School of English, we believe that students, employers and educational institutions can benefit from a precise knowledge of the language levels achieved by our students.  Because of this, all our classes are closely tied to the Council of Europe Common European Framework of Refererence for Language (CEFR), an internationally-recognised system of measuring proficiency in languages, and the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) frameworks.

Oxford School of English is one of the only Schools in Oxford to offer courses at all six of the CEFR levels, as well as offering short-term and long-term courses for beginners.  Between September and June, in addition to our General English courses, we run classes at B2, C1 and C2 which prepare students for the Cambridge ESOL examinations (FCE, CAE and CPE respectively), where we are perhaps the most successful school in Oxford, with approximately 90% of our students passing the exams since the beginning of 2005.

In addition to this, we offer thorough preparation for a range of other English Language exams, including IELTS and TOEFL, and as Oxford's test centre for TOEFL, we are uniquely placed to help students with their studies for this exam.
